Kendra is an Interior Designer and self-taught podcaster. She began during the lockdown in 2020/21 as a reason to connect with her design community, and talked her husband into editing. She found she loved analyzing and looking at the future of the design industry.

With the podcast she aims to support Interior Designers, the profession, and the publics greater understanding of what interior design is as an emerging professional.

Kendra lives, designs, and podcasts in Seattle, Washington with her partner Simon and pug Neelix.

She’s available to travel for speaking engagements throughout the United States and abroad.

Kendra has worked in NYC and Seattle in many sectors including Hospitality, Education, Multi-Family, Retail, Senior Living, Workplace, and Residential. As an active IIDA member she has received the 2019 Emerging Professional Award and the 2024 Presidential Honor Award. She is still supporting the Legislative Team.

Simon has a background in Theater and in Professional Kitchens. Using the skills from those experiences he supports the podcast in multiple capacities.
